Meet Dr. Victor Kuchmaner
Realizing the Power of Chiropractic
It was when Dr. Kuchmaner discovered the philosophy of chiropractic that he knew he would dedicate his life to the profession. “The premise of helping the body to heal itself without the use of drugs or surgery appealed to me.” He’d always been active and participated in sports and avoided taking medications for pain or sickness. The principle of helping someone heal by using just your hands, combined with his interest in natural healing, drove Dr. Kuchmaner to enroll at National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, Illinois.
Helping Loved Ones Through Health Crises
Very early in practice, two of Dr. Kuchmaner’s sisters, were involved in separate life altering motor vehicle accidents. In one of the accidents, two lives were lost. In each accident, both of Dr. Kuchmaner’s sisters sustained severe injuries. Once their emergency status was stabilized, chiropractic care became their primary treatment. As a result, both of his sisters experienced the healing power of chiropractic.
Two decades later, both sisters continue with their adjustments and can engage in any activity they choose. In addition, neither is on any medication what so ever. It is seeing his family through these health crises, that shaped Dr. Kuchmaner’s interest in personal injury cases.
Dr. Kuchmaner and his wife Susan, also saw the power of chiropractic affect their oldest son. As an infant, their son developed a number of severe food sensitivities and allergies. A defining moment in Dr. Kuchmaner’s chiropractic career occurred while watching their son go through a series of allergy testing shots. “He was looking at us crying, as if to say, why are you letting them do this to me.” That is the moment, Dr. Kuchmaner realized that he should be able to help his son through chiropractic care. Dr. Kuchmaner began adjusting his son’s spine daily, with the purpose of removing any interference from his nervous system.
Along with incorporating nutritional support and without any allergy shots or medication, his son’s body began to respond and heal itself. He went from his system seemingly being sensitive to everything, to being a normal healthy child. Tree nuts are the only food he has to be aware of.
